A New Book Idea

Since I know no one's rading my blog, I'll post a little bit of a story I'm working on:

B.L.O.O.D.

Prologue
What’s in a vein?
What’s in a vein? Well the most obvious answer would be blood, but not for me. Not for us. Not anymore…
My “blood,” as they call it, doesn’t look like yours. It has a deep black or chrome-like look to it. It doesn’t smell like yours, either. Most blood has a faint scent of metal, like iron or copper. My blood seems to change its smell. My brother, on the other hand, has no blood at all. So I guess the right answer to the question, in our case, is another question: Whose vein is it?
My name is Jason Psychosis. The year is 2135. I live in the ruins of Detroit, Michigan. I am 15 years old. My brother, Jack, and I have been here for the past five years. Hiding. Running. Waiting. Waiting for this day…
But before I get too far into the good stuff, let’s talk about the past, shall we?
In the year 2009 the human race finally becomes peaceful. Israel was first to try this idea. The entire country put down their weapons and decided to try to get along with their neighboring nations. This was a huge success. Soon other nations tried this and soon the whole world was peaceful. People stopped thinking about color and nationality. Everyone is thought of as an equal.
The whole world decided to conjoin and become one. Instead of many governments, there would only be one. The American government was decided to be used, since it was the best. The world prospered for many years.
In the year 2030 scientists from around the world found a way to heal all diseases. Using people’s immune systems, they were able to create cells that could destroy all types of cancer as well as all diseases that were once thought of as incurable. Unfortunately this cure soon turned into a disease. Some of the scientists started transforming cells into steroids, making their test subjects stronger and smarter. They called it the “Cure” for old age and weakness. Two of the test subjects were my parents. I’d tell you their names, but I don’t remember them….
The scientists soon decided to see what would happen if two of their subjects had a child together. My parents jumped at the chance to have a child. But instead of only one child, they had two. Twins. Both boys. They were named Jason and Jack. I had the cells “Cure” inside of him instead of blood. Jack, however, had no blood at all. It seemed that he didn’t need it, since he was alive without it.
Our physical forms were different as well. I had eyes that changed color, while Jack had eyes that looked like they were made of gold. My body was tough and stiff. Jack’s was rubbery and limber. The only physical item my brother and I both share is the fact that our teeth are sharp enough to cut through cement with ease. The scientists wanted to run tests on my brother and I. When our parents refused to let them, they took us away from them. Big mistake…
Our parents pretty much destroyed the laboratory looking for us. Their new “Cure” gave them much more power than the normal scientists and doctors working there. The last thing I remember is being stuffed into a freezer with my brother. I begged them not to but they did it anyways. And there we stayed for many, many years. Not aging. Not breathing. Just sitting and waiting… Waiting for this day…
What happened between then and now, I don’t know, but whatever happened, it was big. Big enough to wipe out the entire United States. Big enough to have ruined our entire way of life. Big enough…to set us free. The people that put us in that freezer are long gone, but I if they were alive, I’d thank them.
You see, while in that freezer, during whatever was going on, My brother and I attained special abilities. I can change my shape to become whatever I want to, while Jack can fly and change his gravitational pull. I’m sure we’re not the only ones with special gifts, either. In fact I know we aren’t. There are many people that have them and each gift is different from the others.
The only problem with a world of super heroes is that there are also super villains. Like the one that owns the entire world. No one knows what his real power is. No one even knows his real name. Everyone calls him The King of Death. It fits his persona, too, since anyone that opposes him dies almost instantly.
There is one hero, however, that can negate whatever power the King has. He‘s only recently shown himself to the world. His name is Blood. He’s the only person, besides my brother, to not have the so-called “Cure.” He has normal blood. And he has a plan. A plan to save the people that are left in this world. A plan that will either save our lives or dig our graves….

One Other Thing

Yes I'm bi. But there is a limit on what I'll do with a guy. I'll date you. I'll kiss and hug you. I'll call you my boyfriend, even. But if you try to touch me, I'll kill you.

Cutting Your Own Hair

I'm not so good with relationships. I'm sure that's apparent. It's not easy being alone all the time, like I am. No one here understands me. The only people that do are very far away. And the thing is that I know what to do and how to keep a good relationship. It's just harder for me to follow the advice I give. I guess it's like cutting your own hair(which, ironicly, I do easily).
